Where are the bags made?
Our bags are handcrafted in Italy using carefully selected surplus leather from the luxury leather industry.
Each bag is produced in small quantities with great attention to craftsmanship, quality and longevity.
Is every bag identical?
Because we work with carefully selected surplus leather, every bag is unique. Small variations in the grain, texture or colour are a natural characteristic of the material and are part of what makes each piece unique.
These variations should not be considered imperfections.
How should I care for my bag?
To preserve the beauty of your bag, we recommend storing it in its dust bag when not in use.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, direct sunlight and rough surfaces. Leather is a natural material that will develop character over time.
Atelier
How do I know which size to order?
Every Reconsider Atelier piece is one of one and created from carefully selected vintage or secondhand garments.
Because of this, the original size label often differs from modern sizing, and many garments were originally designed as menswear.
Detailed measurements in centimeters are provided on every product page. We recommend comparing these with a garment you already own to find the best fit.
If you're unsure, we're always happy to help.
What condition are the garments in?
Every Atelier piece has had a previous life before being carefully reconstructed.
Minor signs of age or wear may occasionally be present and are considered part of the character of vintage garments.
Any noticeable imperfections beyond normal vintage character will always be mentioned in the product description.c
Shipping
Do you ship internationally?
We offer international shipping, with rates depending on the destination.
Orders are shipped within 2–7 days after purchase. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and shipping information.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are usually dispatched within 2–7 business days.
Estimated delivery times:
- Europe: 1–5 business days
- United States & Canada: 2–10 business days
- Rest of the world: 3–10 business days
Once your order has been shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
Do I need to pay customs duties or import taxes?
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other local charges.
These fees are determined by your local customs authorities and remain the responsibility of the custome
Returns
Can I return my order?
Yes.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is returned in its original, unused condition with all original packaging.
Return shipping costs, customs duties and any additional import fees related to the return are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds will be processed once the returned item has been received and inspected.
How do I start a return?

We'll provide you with the return instructions.
What if my item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect?
Every item is carefully inspected before leaving our atelier.
If you believe your item has arrived with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery and include photographs of the issue.
We'll carefully review your request and, where appropriate, offer a repair, replacement or refund.
Please note that natural variations in leather, the grain, texture or colour are not considered manufacturing defects.
Orders
Can I cancel my order?
Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase, provided they have not yet been processed or shipped.
